Terms and Conditions of Training

BOOKING PROCESS

Once you select your desired class you will be asked to:

  1. Provide personal details including name age date of birth and address which is required to be collected by all RTO’s delivering nationally accredited training
  2. You will then be asked to provide your payment in one of the following ways
    • Credit Card
    • Paypal
    • Direct Debit
  3. Employers group booking several employees at once can contact Proactive Training at info@proactivetraining.com.au to orgainse an account
  4. Once your payment has been accepted you will receive email confirmation of your booking including date time and location
  5. And any pre attendance study you might be required to undertake
  6. This email will also contain links to our refund policy listed below.

Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using the information and services available through the proactivetraining.com.au website (“Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. Pro-Active Training and Assessments Pty Ltd (Proactive Training) may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the Site.

Course Price

Pro-Active Training and Assessments Pty Ltd (Proactive Training) reserves the right to change course price at any time without notice and such change shall be effective immediately upon posting the new price on the Site.

Online Specials

The online special discounted price is only applicable to prepayments made via the website, telephone or in person bookings made before the scheduled date of training.

Please note that the online special discounted price does NOT apply to the invoice payment method.

Invoice Payment Method Terms

When Invoice Payment method is chosen, the company responsible for payment MUST email a Purchase Order / Authority to Invoice.

The Purchase order MUST be received by close of business the day prior to the training date AT THE LATEST.

If Proactive Training does not receive the Purchase Order before the day of training it will not be considered valid and as payment will not have been arranged, the participant will not be issued with their certificates.

For Purchase Order to be valid, they MUST contain:

  1. Name of participant
  2. Date and course participant attending
  3. Confirmation the company accepts to be invoiced the course fee. The correct course fee must be stated (i.e. full price). Online special prices do not apply to invoices.
  4. Full company details: Name, Address, and ABN
  5. Contact details of who to send the invoice to for the payment (name, phone number and email address)

Invoices will ONLY be issued once training has been completed.

If any information on the Purchase Order is incorrect, it will not be accepted and will be sent back to be amended. If the Purchase Order is not correct by Close of Business the day prior to training, the participant will not be issued with their certificate.

Refund and Transfer Policies

All Short CourseRefunds

*All refunds will be charged less a $10 administration fee.

  • More than 2 business days written notice = full refund *
  • Within 2 business days of your course = no refund
  • No refund will be issued after transferring your enrolment to another practical session
  • Participants that are more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled course will be rescheduled at a 50% fee
  • If you do not bring the correct ID no refund will be issued
  • If you do not bring the correct ID and wish to be transferred a 50% rebooking fee will apply
  • If you have not completed any prescribed prestudy requirements, no refund is applicable

Transfer to another date

  • More than 2 business days written notice = no charge.
  • If you do not bring the correct ID no refund will be issued
  • If you do not bring the correct ID and wish to be transferred a 50% rebooking fee will apply
  • Course fees cannot be refunded once you transfer your enrolment to another date
  • Certificates will be withheld until all transfer fees have been paid

If you believe you have grounds to dispute any decision made by Proactive Training in regards to our refund policy please refer to our complaints procedure here.

Interpreter/Translator Policy

Some training courses (please refer to particular course requirements) allow the use of interpreters and translators. For those participants who require the use of an interpreter or translator please be aware that the following conditions must be abided by:

  • If a participant is to bring a family member, colleague or friend to act an interpreter or translator, the translator must not have completed a white card course with us. We will check our records to indicate whether or not the translator was a former customer.
  • We must receive notice that a translator is going to attend the course 48 business hours before the scheduled start time.

Special Needs Participants

If there is a participant who requires special needs assistance, Proactive Training must be informed a minimum of 48 business hours prior to the scheduled course starting time.

Your Privacy

Proactive Training policy is to maintain your privacy when you visit our site. Any personal details sent to us will be kept confidential and are subject to Privacy Laws.

We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with any third-party. We use information provided to identify your bookings. When you send us an email, we may use your email address to contact you in future. We may contact you for clarification of a request from you or to answer your query, but we will not sell or pass on your details, except where they act as agents for us and the information is required to deliver your requested goods or services.

Security Policy

When purchasing from Proactive Training your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the Australian financial industry standard.

Online Payments

Payments made via the website are facilitated by PayPal payment gateway and NAB merchant facility provided by SecurePay.
