VDC COVID-19 Response – Online Professional Learning to continue

This post was originally published on this site

Dear colleagues,

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and restrictions announced by the Australian Government, the VDC is postponing all face to face workshops, external meetings and functions at its premises from 18 March until 30 June 2020. For professional learning, this is effectively the semester 1 programs that would have been held during this time. The VDC Teaching & Learning Conference will also be moved from 14-15 May to 19-20 November this year.

We are pleased to advise that all VDC online webinars will continue and should provide an engaging option for you to continue your professional learning during this period. More information can be found at https://vdc.edu.au/professional-development/ . Appropriate workshops will also be delivered in a live stream / webinar format for participant’s convenience.

VDC will be developing a range of online learning sessions that will replace cancelled face to face workshops. If you are currently enrolled in a workshop, we will be in touch to provide you with assistance in rescheduling your registration to the new online session format.

This decision is made in the interests of protecting your health and wellbeing as well as that of our staff and facilitators, and of course everybody’s family and friends.

I wish you all well during this challenging time.
