Just announced – New Skills First Professional Learning Programs

The Victorian Department of Education and Training has provided funding to the VDC to develop and deliver a specific range of professional development programs that are free for Victorian Skills First Contracted Training Providers and Learn Local providers workforce, as a response to the Government’s commitment to quality training outcomes. The programs focus on providing workforce development training to improve the knowledge, skills and practice of VET teachers, trainers and assessors. It also aims to improve the learning environment, experience and outcomes for all VET learners.

I encourage you to take up this exciting and important professional learning opportunity. For further information and registration details please click here

Following the success of its evaluation in 2018, The Australian Council Education Research (ACER) will again be undertaking an independent evaluation of the programs to measure the effectiveness of the training. Participants to the programs can voluntarily participate in the evaluation as part of registration. We greatly value for feedback on our programs and how we can refine and progress professional learning.
