World Teachers\u2019 Day has come round once again, and VDC is presenting a specially themed webinar that\u2019s being delivered a little differently this time around. Let\u2019s look at what\u2019s in store for this year.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme for VDC\u2019s World Teachers\u2019 Day Webinar is \u201cThe Full Circle of Wellbeing\u201d, and the amazing presentations in the webinar aim to expand on this theme.<\/p>\n

This session is being run twice, once at 12:30pm AEDT, and then repeated at 3:30pm AEDT. Featuring a pre-recorded presentation by international guest speaker, Dr Stephen Corbett from the University of Portsmouth, UK, and then a presentation by Amy Green, founder of The Wellness Strategy. VDC\u2019s own CEO, Martin Powell, will be hosting a Q&A following each presentation as well.<\/p>\n

In Professor Stephen Corbett\u2019s presentation, he\u2019ll be exploring teacher wellbeing \u2013 focusing on the origins of wellbeing theory, and how that\u2019s changed over time. Exploring the challenges faced by teachers across the world and provoking questions as to what we can do to facilitate enhancements in the wellbeing of teachers.<\/p>\n

Amy Green is a Queensland based published author, speaker, facilitator, and coach, and a leader in improving workplace culture and wellbeing in schools and organisations. Amy will be drawing from her firsthand expertise in the field and exploring a tailored approach to enhancing educator wellbeing. Join her for a journey of gaining valuable insights into the distinctive challenges encountered in educational environments. You\u2019ll also learn practical strategies to improve your overall wellness, both in your personal life and within the workplace.<\/p>\n
