How do we bridge the gap between industry standards and responsive learning?<\/p>\n

The Future of VET Curriculum Project<\/strong> team, a group of VET researchers associated with Griffith and Victoria universities, have commenced a long-term program of work aimed at understanding how innovative training providers span the gap between industry standards and responsive learning. Defining curriculum<\/em>\u00a0as the \u2018stuff\u2019 that fills this gap \u2013 the design, organisation and other factors that determine the experience of learning \u2013 the team believes that in disruptive times it is essential that the VET sector gains knowledge from its innovative educators and shares knowledge of how to provide the skills learners need to thrive and contribute to sustainable industries and communities.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Future of VET Curriculum Project\u00a0team will be hosting OctoberVET<\/em>: The Future of VET Curriculum<\/em>,<\/em>\u00a0on 20 October 2023, from 11:30 AM \u2013 1:00 PM, at the VET Development Centre.\u00a0Choose whether you attend in-person or online, the event will be looking at different perspectives on the VET learning ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Project Director, Steven Hodge from Griffith University will open OctoberVET<\/em>: The Future of VET Curriculum<\/em> and introduce MC, Hugh Guthrie, and guests representing four perspectives on the VET learning ecosystem:<\/p>\n
