\n\tI must confess that I am a tech-NO! type of person. When I found out recently that I needed to set up “fancy” earbuds\/microphones and a green screen and lights for our Training Top 100 Virtual Gala, my heart sank. When the boxes arrived last month, they sat on the floor in my office—unopened—mocking me every time I sat down to work.<\/p>\n

\n\tBut 2021 is a new year, and I’ve resolved to up my tech-savvy factor. So I have a date with those earbuds on Saturday, and I made an appointment with an industry colleague to walk me through the rest next Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tYou may have noted the new design and format of our Website, so that means I’ll also be learning how to use a new content management system to upload the content for our daily articles, plus our new five online-only issues (this being the first) for 2021.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the COVID-19 pandemic continues into 2021, the training industry likewise will continue to pivot to the use of more technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and more.
