In the light of another article<\/a> in this edition of VDC News, schools, parents and carers, employers and educators can now access a range of resources to better support secondary students making decisions about their future careers.<\/p>\n

Following the launch of the schooltowork website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is part of the broader ‘Future Ready’ initiative, which includes a national career education strategy<\/a>, and a framework and other resources<\/a> for preparing secondary students for work.<\/p>\n

The resources include the framework, and a range of other information about what vocational learning is<\/a>, VET in secondary schools<\/a>, collaboration<\/a> between schools and employers and its importance as well as a wide range of other resources<\/a> and links, including information that is state\/territory specific.<\/p>\n

There are illustrations of good practice<\/a> too.<\/p>\n
