Free Skills First <\/em>Workshops: <\/em>Good practice for LLN assessment and support<\/h3>\n

As part of its ongoing support for Skills First <\/em>contracted training providers, the Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) is funding professional development on how to appropriately conduct thorough and valid language, literacy and numeracy assessments prior to student commencement.<\/p>\n

The VDC has been engaged by DET to design and deliver an interactive one day workshop to encourage good practice around language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessment and skill development. The workshop also unpacks relevant 2018-19 Skills First<\/em> contractual obligations and explores practical approaches to meet these obligations.<\/p>\n
